ELEVEATE THE ARTS CAMPAIGN | NEW COMMUNITY AUDITORIUM PROGRESS
B220 | Elevate the Arts Campaign
The Mission ★ In a time when innovation is prized, it is the arts that fuel imagination. The fine and performing arts are an essential part of our students' development. The arts build confidence, spark creativity, and foster empathetic relationships that strengthen our entire community.
About the Campaign ★ The Friends of the Fine Arts committee was formed in 2026 to fundraise for specific vital project enhancements to the learning spaces planned for the new Community Auditorium. Friends of the Fine Arts is a collaboration between BHS Fine Arts Boosters and BHS Horseshoe Club. Together, we help fuel the B220 | Elevate the Arts Campaign.
Progress ★ Thanks to the community’s support and the passage of the November 2024 bond referendum, several important renovations to Barrington High School are moving forward, including a new community auditorium. While the approved budget did not cover all of the desired enhancements, our community stepped up—successfully raising the funds needed to help bring these enhancements to life. Enhancements included: Courtyard Furniture, Network for Broadcasting Performances, Scenic Stage Projection, Acustic Catwalk Curtains, and upgraded Stadium Seating.
